Gleb Goloubetski

Gleb Goloubetski was born in Omsk, Russia in 1975; he studied art at the Academy of Art in Saint-Petersburg.

Gleb only works in Oil on Canvas and only ever uses a palette knife.

Gleb's paintings are the result of his observations from travels around the world. He has developed a special fascination with the aged architecture of Europe. Light and reflection play an important part in all of Gleb’s images where he recreates the atmosphere and character of a given place.

Gleb works from personal recollections and photographs that he has taken during his travels. He will often return to places of particular interest to reinstate the intense emotion that he feels and ultimately conveys to canvas.

Formerly presenting in Bond Street, London, Gleb’s work is now exclusively presented in London by Graham Fine Art.

“Bringing the West End to Crouch End”.

Gleb's paintings form an integral part of many significant international collections.
