Berg was born in Roubaix, Northern France. She studied Fine Art at Beaux–Arts de Tours, where her fascination with ancient and traditional painting techniques began.
Berg paints in oil on canvas with brushes, sometimes mixing egg or wax with her paints. Her canvases are expressions of tranquillity, free from the noise and confusion of twenty-first century living.
Her subtle use of muted tones and gentle highlights resonate on a profound level; we are encouraged to journey into the silence.
Berg moved to the centre of Paris in 1980 where she continues to live and work.
