Anthony James Swann was born in Sussex in 1961. His higher education concluded with the attainment of a degree in Fine Art (Painting) from West Surrey College of Art and Design in 1983.
After graduating, Anthony worked in the animation and advertising sectors and now works as a full time independent artist.
Anthony produces fine life drawings in pencil and charcoal and finished comedic or sentimental paintings in oils. A strong sense of drawing underpins all of Anthony's works, where the creation of a comedic atmosphere is central. Anthony says "My art is a reflection of all the various facets of my life. However, my particular focus is on those really funny moments that just make us chuckle."
Anthony accepts commissions for fine art portraits and bespoke murals for both domestic and commercial environments.
